Find the refund schedules for each term. To be eligible for a refund, you must officially withdraw from San Jac by the refund schedule deadline. 

Refund Schedule

Specific refund dates apply to each course, based on the start date and class length.  If you are on an installment payment plan, you will need to check with the business office to determine if you are eligible for a refund.

The refund deadlines and the last day to drop schedule are below.
Only the Texas legislature and Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board can adjust this schedule.

Why It Matters:

If you're ever due a refund—such as excess financial aid, dropped classes, or overpayments—you need a way to get your money fast and securely. To ensure timely receipt of any financial aid refunds or credit balances, please log in to your BankMobile account and select your preferred refund method. Refunds cannot be processed without an active refund preference.

How to Sign Up: 

  1. Check your personal mail/email – BankMobile will send you a personal code in the mail in a green envelope or in an email.
  2. Create your BankMobile account using the link.

Details That Are Good to Know

  • Certain costs cannot be refunded.
  • Beginning the day after the main payment deadline for the term, the SOS website will be unavailable between midnight and 3 a.m.
  • If you are on the installment payment plan, you need to check with the business office to determine if you are eligible for a refund.
  • If you become an in-district resident after registering for classes, the College will grant a refund if you present proof to Center for Advising, Career, and Transfer by the 12th class day of the fall or spring term or by the eighth class day of the summer session.
